Family Ministry Camp Weekend

GPCC Family Camp Weekend Information:

There will likely be hot days and possibly cool nights. You also may want to swim or there will be “water” activities and games, so be prepared with clothes/swimwear! A list of “What to Pack” for camp can be found here: https://www.hopeforkids.org/about-us

You will receive a welcome packet that will include a detailed schedule, a map of the property, and information about camp guidelines and helpful tips.

Saturday will be a play day at camp where we will have family-style games, food, and lots of fun! Try the rock wall, experience the zip line, or cool off in the pool. There will be indoor activities and outdoor sports as well. Be a kid again on the giant inflatable slide and end the evening with worship around the campfire. All meals and snacks are included!
Friday night will be a great time of fellowship, and dinner and culminating with worship around the campfire. Saturday morning we will enjoy a devotional together after breakfast before the Saturday activities begin
Sunday morning after breakfast we will have a family-style worship service at 9:30am before departing camp by 11am.

1. What are the arrival and departure times? Friday arrival begins at 4pm through the evening. Dinner is at 6pm Friday. For those attending the Saturday play day, the arrival time is 10am and you are welcome to stay up through 8pm. Departure on Sunday is 11am.
2. Will I be in a cabin with other people? Family units will be in their own private cabin together. Individuals will be in same-sex cabins with others. Cabins have renovated bathrooms and multiple stalls. There is no private individual housing available.
3. Can I bring my own food? Yes, you can bring food in sealed containers that you can keep in your cabin. You can use a cooler to store cold items in your cabin. Bringing your own food does not change the cost of registration.
4. What if I have dietary restrictions? The camp can accommodate almost all dietary restrictions including nut-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan.
5. What is the schedule for the weekend/Saturday? A detailed schedule will be up towards the end of July. In general, the days consist of some group activities and lots of time to choose between various camp activities. It's a time to relax and have fun, so no rigorous schedules here. For meals, breakfast is at 8am, lunch 12:30pm, dinner is at 6pm.

This service will be outdoors, so please bring a chair. There will not be any afternoon activities available at camp following the service.Item description

Parking for the service is located at 22 Swamp Creek Rd., Schwenksville, PA 19473, on the opposite side of the camp.
Once you arrive, parking attendants will guide you to the service location.
